Workflow

How I build games: a C++ / Unreal Engine pipeline with Claude Code and custom MCP connectors. This page covers the loadout. The devlog posts below go deeper.

Primary tool

Claude Code

Pair-programming on Unreal C++: gameplay systems, refactors, build errors, and engine source spelunking.

Integrations

MCP connectors

Custom Model Context Protocol servers that give the agent access to the tools I use every day.

Engine

Unreal Engine 5

C++-first projects, with Blueprints kept for designer-facing tuning.

Source control

Git + GitHub

Source on GitHub. Packaged builds published as GitHub Releases.

Core loop

  1. Design: write the feature spec in plain language.
  2. Build: implement the C++ with Claude Code, using MCP for project context.
  3. Playtest: run it in-editor, iterate, profile.
  4. Ship: package, publish a GitHub Release, write the devlog.
